Welcome to Underground Squeaks! We are a foster-based rescue in the Western PA area dedicated to rescuing and finding homes for pet rats, mice, hamsters, gerbils, chinchillas, and rabbits. Our mission is to provide compassionate care and a loving home to small animals in need. We work tirelessly to provide medical care, socialization, and enrichment to each animal in our care.

As a foster-based rescue, we rely on the kindness and generosity of our volunteers to provide temporary homes for our animals until they find their forever homes. This approach allows us to provide individualized care for each animal and ensures that they receive the attention and socialization they need to thrive.

We believe that every animal deserves a second chance, regardless of their background or circumstances. We work tirelessly to rescue animals from neglectful or abusive situations and from individuals who can no longer care for their pet(s). We aim to give these often misunderstood and underappreciated creatures a fresh start and help them find loving and caring families who will provide them with the loving homes they deserve.

We understand that many people may not have the knowledge or resources to properly care for these small animals, which is why we offer education and support to potential adopters. We are committed to educating the public about small animals' unique needs and characteristics, and we strive to promote responsible pet ownership in our community.
